This post is a little bit of everything. I don’t only love nails, but I love fashion, make-up and hair too!
This season, one go to look is a beautiful maxi skirt with a nice tank top. I got the maxi skirt pictured below from Pac-Sun. 
The black tank top is from Forever 21. This top is see through in the back, so I wore a lace bandeau underneath. I really think this helped bring the look all together.
Yes, I do have a llama phone case! His name is LeBeau. 🙂
For my shoes, I always love to wear gladiator shoes with a cute skirt or shorts. You can never go wrong with them!
For my hair I curled it using a flat iron. Using the flat iron is my most favorite way to curl my hair! It last for longer than two days, and adds so much volume to my hair.
Now onto the best part, nails! I did my friend Alex’s nails the other day and she wanted the chevron look!
I loved the look so much that I wanted to do it myself!
Here’s what I did! I liked the sparkles on my ring finger and didn’t want to pant over it, so I just painted my middle finger. I free handed this look with a stripe right brush.
And yes that is a llama wallet. It’s another obsession of mine.
Another way to make perfect chevron stripes, is to use a pair of zig zag scissors. First paint the nail all white and let the nail dry. Then, cut tape strips using the zig zag scissors to get the chevron shape. Paint over the tape with a different polish color. Before the polish dries take off the tape using tweezers, to get perfect chevron stripes. You can also purchase pre-cut chevron decals on Etsy.com. Anyway you paint them, you can never go wrong with the chevron look, it is very much in style.
