I have not yet seen the Great Gatsby, but it is on my list of things to do when it finally comes out on red box. This movie is known for the beautiful gowns and fabulous jewelry..so why not make some gorgeous nails to go along!
What you will need for this tutorial: A sparkle nail polish, for this I used OPIs Dazzled, Essie’s minted apple, a top coat of your choice, striping tape and scissors to cut the striping tape. 
For this look I started with two coats of OPIs Dazzled. After letting that dry I took striping tape (doesn’t matter what color) and made the designs that I wanted. 
Be sure that the striping tape is laying flat along your nail. Then, paint two coats of Essie’s minted apple. Let the Essie polish sit for 30 seconds and peal off the stripping tape slowly. If you let the polish dry all the way it will be difficult to remove the tape. 
Once you remove the tape you should get something like this! 
This look is so easy to accomplish, I did it on a sleeper bus on the way to Virginia Tech!
